Volunteer

Whether it’s patient screening, recording history, taking vitals, or helping in the lab, Clinical Volunteers are the heart of the Madison Free Clinic!

Join us to help your neighbors in need throughout Madison County.

Note: We also occasionally need short-term, need non-clinical volunteers to help with projects such as mailing postcards, transcribing records, making phone calls, digitizing records, and other office tasks that do not involve face-to-face contact with patients.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, the Madison Free Clinic has evolved and responded to the changing environment and increased needs in our community. We maintain close communications with local medical professionals and public health officials about the COVID-19 health crisis. The health and safety of our volunteers, clients, and staff is our top priority.

Please email us at intake@madisonfreeclinic.org or give us a call during business hours for more information.

If you are between the ages of 18-64 and need a 2022 Influenza vaccination, please give us a call at 540-948-3667 to schedule an appointment. This service is free and open to those who live or work in Madison County, regardless of income or insurance status.
